About the Course
The course is designed by Mr Cao Chi using sports and science knowledge to support Ballet training. The benefit of this unique course is recognised widely from enrichment to professional ballet training.
Mr Cao Chi was invited by Royal Academy of Dance to conduct this course as part of the RAD CPD Course, benefitting many teachers in their teaching. In 2020 Mr Cao Chi was also invited by the top national ballet Company in China, National Ballet of China, where he spent 3 months building and incorporating this program into the Company’s daily training for the Company dancers, receiving an overwhelming response. He was subsequently invited back again this year to conduct the training course.

This two-day course will support dance teachers with training tips and exercises for their ballet classes, with a focus on:

Strengthening and conditioning training (which will help to improve flexibility, prevent injury and develop strength).

Correct alignment and posture of the body for better control (which is important for pirouettes).

Correct muscle groups for dancers' explosive power and stability (to improve on allegro, control of the alignment and movements).

Nutritional advice and recovery strategies (helping dancers recovering quicker from the intense daily schedule, reduce fatigue).

*Teachers can come in in stretchable clothes, teaching shoes, pen & paper for note taking.
